- Soil CO2 gas measurements were collected bi-weekly for one year, using a CO2 analyser, by Dr Viktoria Oliver and Jose Kala, with the aim of investigating the impacts of grazing and fire history on soil C dynamics in the Peruvian montane grasslands. Soil samples were collected from each site and a soil density fraction method was used to determine soil C fractions at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, by Dr Viktoria Oliver.
