Whole genome bisulfide sequencing of Daphnia magna clones
This data is NERC-funded but not held by the EIDC. This data is archived in the European Nucleotide Archive.
The data consist of short-read sequencing data (Illumina HiSeq 4000 or Novaseq 6000) from several genetic clones and represents either whole genome sequencing data (from which single nucleotide polymorphisms can be derived) or whole genome methylation libraries (NEB Methyl-seq) from which cytosine methylation levels can be derived. Additional long read data (PacBio Sequel II) was used to create genome assemblies for two of the clones.

- Statement
- DNA was extracted using Qiagen columns, and quantity and integrity assessed using Qubit and Agilent fragment analyser. NEB Ultra-I and Methyl-seq libraries were prepared according to manufacturers instructions. Short read data was trimmed for Illumina adaptors and for poor quality 3' data. Pacbio HiFi libraries were prepared from high molecular weight DNA and sequenced on a PacBio Sequel II. Fastq files were uploaded to ENA.
