Statement

The dataset was derived from digitisation of coal mine abandonment plans in either XGEO or Arcview 3 or ARCGIS for structure contours, spot heights and areas of mining outlines. Processing applied to spot heights and structure contours was to convert the elevation from feet relative to colliery datum to metres relative to OD.
