- Statement
- These envelopes were extracted using data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasting and Global Biodiversity Information Facility. For each plant occurrence record in the last century we extracted the range of climates it was exposed to at that location, for the preceding year. On the species level, we corrected for bias in global plant sampling using Enhanced Vegetation Index from Modis as a proxy for plant density. Further details can be found in our Julia package at https://github.com/boydorr/ClimatePref.jl - the DOI for the latest release is at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6452065
