- Statement
- The data is based on the UKCEH Land Cover 2000 raster at 25 m2. Drainage basin areas were discretised using the IHDTM (50 m2) and streams created using ArcGIS 10.6. Land cover scenarios were converted to fractions of the eight different land cover types according to JULES base configuration at a 1 km2 grid scale. Each of the eight land fractions rasters were then combined in a netCDF file using the Python packages rasterio and netCDF4 to create the land cover scenarios in a format for JULES to process. Land maps generated were compared to the CHESS-land dataset to ensure that they were generated accurately.
