Statement

Data were collected by the Limb Infrared Monitor of the Stratosphere (LIMS) instrument, mounted on the Nimbus-7 satellite, and were stored on a Radiance Archive Tape (RAT). The RAT data were used to derive a series of products held at NASA, a copy of which was obtained by the Geophysical Data Facility (GDF, The predecessor archive to the BADC) for UK users.
