- Statement
- Soil samples were collected in the summer of 2007 by field surveyors. Data were recorded from a maximum of 256 1km squares sited across Britain, selected by random stratified sample. Samples were analysed according to standardized protocols at the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Lancaster in 2007-2009. Data are managed by the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology.
