Underwater video and camera stills and grabs acquired via Hamon Grab gathered March to January 2014. These data are archived with the Marine Environmental Data and Information Network (MEDIN) Data Archive Centres (DACs) including the British Geological Survey (BGS) DAC for geology and geophysics, The Archive for Marine Species and Habitats Data (DASSH) and the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) bathymetry DAC. The full site data package including raw is also available on request from BGS.

These data Multibeam (bathymetry and backscatter), grab sampling (PSA), are archived with the Marine Environmental Data and Information Network (MEDIN) Data Archive Centres (DACs) including the British Geological Survey (BGS) DAC for geology and geophysics, The Archive for Marine Species and Habitats Data (DASSH) and the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) bathymetry DAC. The full site data package including raw is also available on request from BGS.

This sampling survey has been carried out by Institute of Geological Sciences now British Geological Survey (BGS) for BGS, the survey took place in August to September 1974 in the Solway Firth from a hovercraft. The purpose was to collect data for a helicopter gravity survey for the Applied Geophysics unit. Beach sample data were collected for the marine geology unit UK regional mapping programme. These data are archived by BGS. No BGS survey report currently available.

Survey work began at the Mid St George’s Channel rMCZ. Hamon grab and Drop Camera survey. To increase the number of ‘regular’ stills collected from this site, short (2 minute) DC deployments were carried out more frequently and in addition to the planned standard (10 minute) DC deployments. In areas of the site where less than 100% multibeam data coverage existed additional Multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data were collected during transits between ground-truthing stations. On completion of the ground-truthing survey two additional blocks of Multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data were surveyed.

Sediment and infaunal community survey of a feature known as 'Swallows Hole', within the Swallow Sand MCZ. MBES (bathymetry and backscatter) data were collected during transits between target stations ensuring coverage across the 'Swallows Hole' area.

Mini-Hamon Grab survey within the Land's End rMCZ. The grabbing followed on from the camera survey conducted by the EA in 2012.

Multibeam (bathymetry and backscatter), underwater video and camera stills and SA and Fauna grabs acquired via Hamon Grab gathered onboard Cefas Endeavour in January 2014.

Whitsand and Looe Bay recommended Marine Conservation Zone 2013 habitat verification survey. Sampling equipment: Drop camera and 0.1 m2 Mini-Hamon grab. Drop Camera survey collecting video and still images of the seabed habitats within the Whitsand and Looe Bay rMCZ. Hamon Grab survey within the Whitsand and Looe Bay rMCZ.
