  • Single-polar products from the Met Office's Hameldon Hill C-band rain radar, Lancashire, England. Data include reflectivity and augmented Doppler products from August 2005 and March 2011 respectively. Both products ceased being produced and delivered to the BADC on 18th December 2013, when dual-polar products became available. The radar is a C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar and data are received by the Nimrod system at 5 minute intervals.

  • Single-polar products from the Met Office's Castor Bay C-band rain radar, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Data include CPAPR and augmented refractivity products from January 2013 and March 2011 respectively. The radar is a C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar and data are received by the Nimrod system at 5 minute intervals.

  • Dual-polar products from the Met Office's Hill of Dudwick C-band rain radar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Data include augmented ldr and zdr scan data (both long and short pulse). The radar is a C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar and data are received by the Nimrod system at 5 minute intervals.

  • Dual-polar products from the Met Office's Holehead C-band rain radar, Stirling, Scotland. Data from this site include augmented ldr (linear depolarisation ratio) and zdr (differential reflectivity) scan data (both long and short pulse) available from August 2018 at present. The radar is a C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar and data are received by the Nimrod system at 5 minute intervals.

  • Single-polar products from the Met Office's Cobbacombe Cross C-band rain radar, Devon, England. Data include reflectivity (from August 2009), Doppler (from June 2008), CPAPR (from March 2011) and augmented refractivity (from March 2011) products. The radar is a C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar and data are received by the Nimrod system at 5 minute intervals.

  • Single-polar products from the Met Office's Holehead C-band rain radar, Stirling, Scotland. Data include reflectivity (from April 2012), Doppler (from August 2012) and CPAPR (from August 2012) products. The radar is a C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar and data are received by the Nimrod system at 5 minute intervals.

  • 2 km resolution data from the NIMROD system data describe rain-rate observations taken at Chenies, Herfordshire, England, by NIMROD, which is a very short range forecasting system used by the Met Office. 1 km rain rate data are available from 2004 until present. Radar images from the C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar are received by the Nimrod system 5 minute intervals respectively.

  • 1 km resolution data from the NIMROD system data describe rain-rate observations taken at Clee Hill, Shropshire, by NIMROD, which is a very short range forecasting system used by the Met Office. 1 km rain rate data are available from February 2011 until present. Radar images from the C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar are received by the Nimrod system 5 minute intervals.

  • 1 km resolution rain rate data from Met Office's Cobbacombe Cross C-band rain radar, Devon, England as part of the NIMROD, very short range forecasting system used by the Met Office. 1 km rain rate data are available from 2011 until present. Radar images from the C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar are received by the Nimrod system 5 minute intervals respectively.

  • 1 km resolution data from the NIMROD system data describe rain-rate observations taken at Hameldon, Lancashire, by NIMROD, which is a very short range forecasting system used by the Met Office. 1 km rain rate data are available from 2011 until present. Radar images from the C-band (5.3 cm wavelength) radar are received by the Nimrod system 5 minute intervals.
