This dataset comprises 117 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during August - September 1987. It incorporates tidal cycle time series from the Irish Sea between Anglesey and the Isle of Man. Irish Sea and North Channel CTD sections from Wigtown Bay to Sellafield, Copeland to Portpatrick, Larne to Stranraer and Kintyre to Antrim. Scottish Shelf CTD sections west of Islay, from Mull to Shelf Edge, north from Butt of Lewis, Eddrachillis Bay to Broad Bay, and Loch Seaforth to Loch Gairloch. A CTD survey of the Wyville Thompson Ridge and surrounding areas of the NE Atlantic. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association as part of the North Atlantic Norwegian Sea Exchange (NANSEN) project.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during June 1987. It incorporates intensive surveys and sections in the Clyde Sea and the Sound of Mull, including sections from Islay to Ireland, from 6.5-8W along 55.75N (part of the Ellett Line) and from 6-10W along 56.1N (the Sound of Mull to Shelf Break portion of the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Rockall Trough section). The latter included two 12-hour time series. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a salinity-temperature-depth (STD) sensor package, during July - August 1978. It incorporates casts performed within the North East Atlantic Ocean area, including the Rockall via Anton Dohrn (Ellett Line) section, and triangular surveys around each of the Joint Air Sea Interaction Experiment (JASIN) moorings NW of the Anton Dohrn Seamount. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a salinity-temperature-depth (STD) sensor package, during August - September 1975. It incorporates casts performed within the North East Atlantic Ocean area, inclunding three stations of the Ellett Line east of the Anton Dohrn Seamount, the Rockall-Malin Head and the Rosemary Bank-St Kilda sections. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a salinity-temperature-depth (STD) sensor package, during November 1975. It incorporates casts performed within the North East Atlantic Ocean area, including the Rockall via Anton Dohrn (Ellett Line) section, together with the St Kilda shelf edge section. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during January - February 1977. It incorporates CTD casts from the N Atlantic comprising a section from Vigo, Spain out to 30W along 42N and a section from 49N, 28W to 45N, 16W. The data were collected by the Institute of Oceanographic Sciences Wormley Laboratory as part of a physical oceanography study in eastern North Atlantic.

The dataset comprises 57 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, within the North East Atlantic Ocean area. It incorporates the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Rockall via Anton Dohrn Seamount (Ellett Line) section, together with three additional east-west sections to the west of the Hebrides. A further section was surveyed between Loch Boisdal and Loch Moidart. The data were collected during April of 1978. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.
